The deadline for sending us your paid 2290 or Federal Highway Use Tax is January 9, 2012.  We must have copies of them so we can start the license renewal process.  Please scan, mail or fax them to the Permit Department as soon as possible.


    • Hey Wendy the fax number for permits is 800 433 8512. I’m sure they have an email address you might need to contact permits to acquire that email address.

  1. I had to mail my 2290 in this year as the IRS closed my local office and I’m still waiting for the receipt in the mail. what to do?

  2. I have an account with jj keller and I am being advised that the Irs. Is not allowing efile until jan. 9 2012. It will/ should be the 10th or 11th when a copy of paid reciept can be scanned and sent to you. Please advise. Thanks, Jay
