Contractor of the Month: Mike Mattingly

On December 16th, 2009, Mercer contractor, Don Balis, was loading in Utah when he fell from his trailer while tarping a load.

Fellow contractor Mike Mattingly was nearby, and notified by Jill Willard, manager of Mercer's Salt Lake City ofiice. Employees at the Machinery Consultants (where Don was loading) graciously took Don to the hospital, while Mike finished tarping the load, fueled up Don's truck and drove it to the SLC office.

Don has recovered and wants to say a special thank you to Mike, as well as Jill and everyone else involved. He is very thankful and appreciative to have folks in the Mercer family there to lend a hand.
